In 1960, A young entrepreneur named G.B. Litchfield(G.B.L.) bought his first major beverage brand and began distributing in the small town of Santa Barbara, California. As the years passed G.B. Litchfield built a very successful sales and distribution business. Thus, G.B.L. Distributing Company was born. Major brands including Regal Pale Ale, Carling Black Label, Stroh's, Coors, and Snapple joined G.B.L.'s successful distribution network. From the beginning G.B.L. has been a leader in the distribution industry by using highly trained sales personnel with innovative marketing programs to drive sales at retail. We have a comprehensive distribution and logistics team to help expedite orders.
Today, the business empire built by G.B. Litchfield is run by his son Dan Litchfield Sr. and his grandson Dan Litchfield Jr. The Litchfield family operates GBL Distributing Company with the same pride, expertise, and dedication of its founder.
Since 1960 GBL Distributing Company has expanded its territory to include all of San Luis Obispo , Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties.
